Connect Granola to AmpUp to import your AI-powered meeting notes, transcripts, and summaries. AmpUp’s AI agents will analyze your sales conversations to provide personalized coaching and help every rep perform at their best.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Granola, ensure you have:
Granola account with API access
Admin permissions to generate API keys in Granola
AmpUp admin access for your organization

AmpUp imports notes from the last 14 days during initial sync. New notes sync automatically every 10 minutes after Granola processes them.

Connect Granola

Granola uses API key authentication for a straightforward setup process.

Generate API Key in Granola

Log into your Granola account and navigate to SettingsAPI Access.Click Generate New API Key and copy the key.
Save your API key securely - it won’t be shown again. You’ll need this to connect to AmpUp.

Navigate to Integrations in AmpUp

In AmpUp, go to SettingsIntegrationsGranola.

Enter Provider Credentials

Click Connect Granola. AmpUp will prompt you to enter the API Key you generated from Granola. AmpUp securely stores this credential and uses it to access your Granola data.Configure your integration preferences:
  • Historical Data Backfill Period: Choose how far back to import (default: 14 days)
  • Data syncs automatically every 10 minutes after initial setup
Click Continue to Configure Granola to proceed.

Review Field Mapping

Review which Granola data fields will sync to AmpUp:The integration syncs:
  • Required fields: Note ID, title, summary (text & markdown), calendar event, attendees, owner, transcript
Click Install to complete the connection.

Initial Import

AmpUp will begin importing your Granola meeting notes. This typically takes a few minutes depending on note volume.

Configuration Options

Historical Import Range

Choose how far back to import:
  • 14 days - Default, recent notes only
  • 30 days - Recommended for most teams
  • 90 days - Extended history for analysis

Common Issues

  • Verify the note has finished processing in Granola
  • Check that the user is included in your sync settings
  • Confirm the note is linked to a calendar event
  • Verify you copied the entire API key without extra spaces
  • Check that the API key hasn’t been revoked in Granola settings
  • Ensure the API key belongs to an admin account
  • Try generating a new API key and reconnecting
  • Transcripts require clear audio quality during the meeting
  • Very short meetings may not generate transcripts
  • Check your Granola plan for any feature restrictions
Large note libraries take time to process. AmpUp imports notes chronologically, starting with the most recent.

Disconnect Granola

To disconnect the integration:
  1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsGranola
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Confirm the disconnection
Disconnecting stops new notes from syncing. Previously imported data remains in AmpUp unless you request deletion.
You can also revoke the API key in Granola:
  1. Go to SettingsAPI Access in Granola
  2. Find the API key and click Revoke
