# Chorus (ZoomInfo)

> Connect Chorus to analyze your sales conversations with AmpUp

Connect Chorus (by ZoomInfo) to AmpUp to import your call recordings and transcripts. AmpUp's AI agents will analyze your sales conversations to provide personalized coaching and help your team perform at their best.

## Prerequisites

Before connecting Chorus, ensure you have:

<Check>Chorus username and password credentials</Check>
<Check>AmpUp admin access for your organization</Check>

  Chorus uses basic authentication (username and password). These credentials are securely stored and encrypted by AmpUp. An admin may need to enable API access for your Chorus role before you can connect.

## Get Your Chorus Credentials

Chorus uses username and password authentication for API access.

    Contact your Chorus (ZoomInfo) administrator to ensure your user role has API token generation enabled. Not all roles have this permission by default.

    Use the username and password you normally use to log into Chorus. These same credentials are used for API authentication.

      If your organization uses SSO for Chorus, you may need a separate API credential. Contact your Chorus administrator for guidance.

## What Data Syncs

### From Chorus to AmpUp

| Data Type           | Description                                       |

| **Call Recordings** | Audio/video recordings of sales calls             |
| **Transcripts**     | Full conversation transcripts with speaker labels |
| **Call Metadata**   | Duration, date, title, participants               |
| **Emails**          | Email engagement data (incremental sync)          |
| **Scorecards**      | Call scoring data (incremental sync)              |
| **Engagements**     | Engagement metrics and data                       |

  Incremental sync (only new/changed data) is available for emails and scorecards. Other objects use full backfill on each sync cycle.

## Connect Chorus

  <Step title="Navigate to Integrations">
    In AmpUp, go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Chorus**.

  <Step title="Enter Provider Credentials">
    Click the **Connect Chorus** button. AmpUp will prompt you to enter your Chorus **username** and **password**. AmpUp securely stores and encrypts these credentials and uses them to access your Chorus data.

  <Step title="Configure Sync Settings">
    Choose your historical data backfill period and select which data types to sync.

  <Step title="Initial Import">
    AmpUp will begin importing your Chorus data. This typically takes 2-6 hours depending on call volume.

## Configuration Options

### Team Filtering

Control which teams' calls are imported:

1. Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Chorus** → **Teams**
2. Toggle teams on/off
3. Changes apply to new calls going forward

### Call Filters

| Filter                    | Default            |
| ------------------------- | ------------------ |
| **Minimum Duration**      | 5 minutes          |
| **External Participants** | Required           |
| **Call Type**             | All recorded calls |

### Historical Import Range

Choose how far back to import:

* **30 days** - Quick setup
* **90 days** - Recommended
* **6 months** - Extended history

## Sync Status & Troubleshooting

### Check Sync Status

View your sync status at **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Chorus** → **Sync Status**.

| Status           | Meaning                              |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------ |
| ✅ **Connected**  | Integration is active                |
| 🔄 **Importing** | Historical import in progress        |
| ✅ **Live Sync**  | Real-time sync active                |
| ⚠️ **Delayed**   | Processing backlog                   |
| ❌ **Error**      | Connection issue - check credentials |

### Common Issues

    * Verify your username and password are correct
    * Check that your Chorus role has API access enabled
    * If your org uses SSO, you may need a separate API credential
    * Contact your Chorus administrator to verify API permissions

    * Wait for Chorus to finish processing the call
    * Verify the call meets minimum duration requirements
    * Check that the user's team is included in sync settings

    * Transcripts require clear audio quality
    * Very short calls may not be transcribed
    * Check Chorus processing status for the call

## Disconnect Chorus

To disconnect the integration:

1. Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Chorus**
2. Click **Disconnect**
3. Confirm disconnection

  Disconnecting stops new calls from syncing. Previously imported data remains in AmpUp unless you request deletion.

    Yes. Your credentials are encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 encryption. AmpUp is SOC 2 Type 2 certified.

  <Accordion title="Can I connect both Chorus and Gong?">
    Yes, but we recommend connecting only one conversation intelligence platform to avoid duplicate calls.

  <Accordion title="Does AmpUp replace Chorus?">
    No. Chorus continues to record and analyze your calls. AmpUp adds a personalized coaching layer on top of your Chorus data.

  <Accordion title="What happens when Chorus is fully merged into ZoomInfo?">
    We will update the integration as ZoomInfo evolves the Chorus platform. Your connection will continue to work during any transition.
